By using EvenGut you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use EvenGut.

What EvenGut is, and isn't

EvenGut helps you organize what you've tried for IBS, see what published clinical guidelines list, and prepare questions for your doctor. It is an education and organization tool. It doesn't diagnose conditions, recommend treatments or give medical advice, and using it doesn't create a doctor-patient relationship. Read the full disclaimer.

EvenGut isn't for emergencies. If you need urgent care, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. If you're thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (US and Canada).

Who can use EvenGut

You must be an adult (18 or older, or the age of majority where you live) to use EvenGut.

Guideline content

Items on your map come from published clinical guidelines and are quoted, or clearly labelled as summaries, with a link to the source. Guidelines change and may not cover your situation, and some items are still waiting for review by a clinician. Items are listed in a fixed order and aren't ranked. Whether any of them applies to you is a question for your doctor.

Your visit sheet and saved reviews

You decide who sees your visit sheet. If you save your review, keep its private link safe: anyone with the link can open it until you delete it. You can delete a saved review at any time from its page.

Founding-member pre-orders

• A pre-order is a one-time payment of $9 USD, taken by Stripe.
• It's credited toward your first year of EvenGut Plus at the founding price of $29 USD, so you'd pay the $20 balance at launch.
• You can ask for a full refund at any time before launch by emailing [contact email].
• If the app isn't live within 90 days of your pre-order, we refund you automatically.
• We describe what Plus will include as plans, not promises. If what launches is different in a way that matters to you, you can ask for a refund before you pay the balance.

Using EvenGut fairly

Please don't:

• enter someone else's health information without their permission;
• try to get into accounts, links or data that aren't yours;
• overload, scrape, reverse-engineer or interfere with EvenGut;
• use EvenGut for anything unlawful.

Our content

EvenGut's text, design and software belong to us. Guideline statements belong to their publishers and are quoted for education, with attribution and links.

No warranty

We work hard to keep EvenGut accurate and available, but we provide it “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We can't promise that it is error-free, complete or always online.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made based on EvenGut, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be limited.

Changes

We may change EvenGut or these terms. When we change the terms, we'll update the date at the top; if a change is significant and you've given us your email, we'll tell you before it takes effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Province or state], except where the law where you live says otherwise.
